PROTARGOL solution 2%

PROTARGOL 2% SOLUTION Dosage form: Solution for topical use. Description: Brown solution with mild bitter or slightly astringent taste, odorless. Protargol consists of proteins containing 7.8-8.3% silver ions. Composition: 100 ml of solution contains: active ingredient - silver proteinate 2g, excipients: distilled water – up to 100ml. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antiseptic agent. Indications for use: Protargol 2% is indicated for use in adults and children over 3 years of age for symptomatic therapy of acute nasopharyngitis (rhinitis), sinusitis. Method of administration and dosage: Topical application. Before using the drug, it is recommended to wash and clear the nasal passages.  Adults and children over 6 years: 2-3 drops in each nostril 3 times daily.  Children from 3 to 6 years: 1-2 drops in each nostril 3 times daily. Treatment course: 5-7 days. The main effect of the drug will manifest only 2-3 days after first use. If symptoms persist or worsen for more than 5-7 days, it is recommended to consult a physician. Packaging: 15 ml in plastic, light-resistant dropper-bottles or spray-bottles. Storage conditions: Store in a place protected from light and out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not use the drug after the expiration date indicated on the package!
