TINCTURA IODINE 5% Dosage form: Tincture for external use Description: Clear red-brown liquid with a characteristic odor Composition per 100 ml Active ingredient: iodine - 5.0 g Excipients: potassium iodide - 2.0 g, ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 96%, purified water - in equal parts to 100 ml. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antiseptics and disinfectants. Indications for use: Inflammatory and infectious skin diseases, abrasions, cuts, minor injuries, wounds; myositis, neuralgia, inflammatory infiltrates; treatment of wound edges, skin preparation before injections, punctures, catheterization. Method of administration and dosage: For external use, apply to affected areas or areas requiring treatment. Packaging: 10 ml or 30 ml of tincture in a glass vial. Storage conditions: Store in a place protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, keep out of reach of children.
